General Lighting Reports
posted 10:04 PM Monday, November 03, 2008 by jgalamb2
General lighting reports have been created for "beginner", "advanced" and "professional" reading levels. These reports are posted to the Solar Decathlon Wiki and have information pertaining to the general lighting design (each with a different difficulty level for readers).
It has recently been discovered that the price of LED bulbs to be used in the design has increased substantially. This results in CFL bulbs being more economical than LEDs. However, LED bulbs still result in less overall power consumption.
We hope to have the entire lighting layout (as well as designated circuits) completed. This includes material selection.
